Re: Spinning reel for lighter crank and jerkbaits
stradic 3000.
but I would use a good quality mono like Sufix Siege or Elite rather than floro.
its too stiff on spinning gear

Re: St Croix Seviin reels
On another forum this reel is being pimped HARD. The admin of the site is making the dubious claim that St. Croix designed the reel and owns the tooling, even though it's a Chinese OEM reel like everything else Banax. Those of us that know better were quick to point out that it's a Banax with a dif...

Re: 7'6" ML - M spinning rod for mid cranks
I have the SJR 901 S IMX Pro and its amazing for small light lures. its a light power rating
For something a little bit heavier like the DT series the SJR 902 IMX Pro might be just perfect. its rated 1/8 to 3/8 oz lures

Re: New NRX / GLX
Loomis warranties old used and abused rods? They should. If you paid for a rod from them with a lifetime warranty you should still get a lifetime warranty. doesnt matter if it was 15 or 20 years ago or not. Not sure what they do these days though. I guess they replace with a current comparable model?

Thank You!
Only problem was, I had fished for hours with my actual muskie setup, and I took a break from it, picked up my Loomis Bass rod (7'6 MH) cast da mepps and wham.

Re: Was Braided Line a Game Changer for You?
I started fishing in Mexico, and even 25lbs Mono or Copolymer broke left and right, wow what brand of mono was this??? the other day I was trying to break off a snagged Rapala Jointed Shad RX on 20 pound Sufix Siege and the hook broke and the lure came free before my palomar knot on my Sufix Siege ...

is Shimano's spiral X the same as the 'carbon scrim' that used to be featured on IMX and GLX Loomis rods in the late 90s?
is added carbon scrim still used today? just not talked about?
thanks
