Daiwa DX Bass Rods from Tackle Warehouse
Hey,
Has anyone used the Daiwa DX bass rods sold only at tacklewarehouse.com? I'm looking to get one, they are priced under $100 right now. Seems like a good deal, just wondering if anyone has used them and what they compare to.
Thanks,
Christian

Re: Chronarch Ci4+ conversion
Are you sure he doesn't need the key washer and new drag washer to fit inside the main gear?

Re: Exsence Dc questions
Yes, you just have to go through a japan supplier because it's a JDM reel. I just contacted them, told them what reel I had and that I wanted to order some parts. They emailed me a schematics of the reel and I just emailed them back with the part numbers. Very simple, but it took a few days for them...

Re: Exsence Dc questions
If you take the side plate off, their are 3 screws that hold the DC onto the side plate. I've taken mine off recently to maintain the spool bearing because you can't get to it without removing the DC component. I contacted Jun at japantacke.com last week and he told me a new DC chip would be $80 plu...

I have not used them, but they do have a youtube page with videos, if that will aid in your decision.

Shimano Metanium bfs yumea spool worth it?
Hey guys, I just bought a Shimano Met and I'm thinking about updating to a bfs yumyea spool for finesse applications. Is it worth the extra money or can the stock spool handle light lures? I haven't gotten the reel yet, should be here in a couple of days! Thanks for the input in advance! Christian

Shimano, but I'm open minded and occasionally look at other offerings to see what they have to offer.

Re: Shimano Exsense DC Parts?
Okay, great information! I'm assuming the reel will come with schematics just a foreign language so I'll have the parts list already. It's hard to drop that kind of money on something you can't get parts for, and now I know that I can, I don't mind buying the reel. Thanks guys!

Shimano Exsense DC Parts?
Hey guys, I'm looking into buying my first JDM reel, the Shimano Exsense DC. I do all my own maintenance on my reels. I was wondering if anyone knows where to by OEM Shimano parts for this and other JDM reels? I mean, I might be able to buy it off Shimano Japan website, but I don't speak or read Jap...

Re: Help with Falcon Coastal XG rods!?!?!?!?
I just looked again and I see that you are looking at the spinning models. I was talking about the casting models. The Medium Popper is more than likely going to be a more moderate action compared to the Redfish model being a faster action. Yes, John, this will be a spinning rod and when looking at...

Help with Falcon Coastal XG rods!?!?!?!?
Hey, I'm looking to buy a Falcon Coastal Rod for my fishing trip to Florida in a few weeks. I'm looking at the 7' medium popper or the medium heavy redfish. On the website the specs are exactly the same. Can someone give me some insight on the two and how they compare to each other? Thanks! Christian
