Re: Bantam mgl usa vs. Japan
Their looks to be no difference between the two. Line capacity is the same on the Japanese websites and the American websites. I think Japan will get them first, starting in March and the US looks to be getting them in April. Now this is just what I've read, that could change depending on Shimano. I...

Re: Curado K SVS Question
Turn the Dial from 1 to 6 and back down to 1, do that several times, it will loosen up. Also, if the reel sits for awhile, then you go out to fish again, it might get stiff, just turn the dial back and forth a couple of times and your good. Better it be stiff then too loose.

I really like how my Chronarch MGL palms and you can find them for around $210. They also perform great as well. Just something to consider.

Re: Calling all diehard topwater junkys
I do very well on the Ima Helips like some have mentioned. Everything about the bait is quality and it's made in Japan. I will add, if your a topwater guy, you should have a Jackall Pompadour Jr. in your tackle box. I can't believe how well that's produced for me on highly pressured lakes.

Re: Shimano Bantam MGL???
Yes, it looks good, but what about the quality. The days of the ole Shimano seem to be far behind, and I would love to see them turn it back around. I am not seeing them to be any better than the OEMs out of Korea at their current lineup. Yes, hate me all you want, and most fanboys will disagree. I...

I'm in as well! This is the reel that people have been wanting since the Chronarch 100d reels. People have been asking for an aluminum Chronarch instead of the ci4 ones. Can't wait to get one! https://preview.ibb.co/fJ5wGw/2018_01_19_13_19_34_thumb.jpg https://preview.ibb.co/jOSAbw/2018_01_19_13_19_...

Re: New Powell Endurance line coming
Upon further inspection it looks they are using the generic ECS reel seats.... Crap !!! Can't rod Companies just spend a cpl extra bucks and use the real thing ? Heck even Duckett Went back to using genuine Fugi ECS reel seats. Both spinning and casting models have Fuji reel seats, that's straight ...

Bought a rod from Tim, a rod I had never heard of, so I had some questions. Tim answered all my questions honestly and was patient until I made my decision to purchase. Rod was packed well and shipped super fast! Tim is one of the good guys and I hope to deal with him again soon!

Re: G Loomis IMX MBR783C for LC Pointer 100s?
Thanks for the input guys, I thought about getting a dedicated jerkbait rod, but I think I'll try using my 783c first. Usually when the weather gets cold, I don't fish much, but this winter I'm going to get out there and throw the jerkbait around, so that's why I asked the question.

Hey guys, was wondering if this rod would work well with LC Pointer 100s? I know the rod will throw it, but is it a good idea?
thanks for the input in advance!

Just bought a Shimano Curado 200e7 from Chris. The reel was packaged securely and marked "Fragile, please handle with care". The reel was practically brand new. I exchanged a few emails with Chris over some of his gear and after talking with him, you just know he's an honest guy. I didn't even see p...
