Re: Reaction Innovations Skinny Dipper

the little dipper is hard to beat as a swimjig trailer.

@bassninja, skinny dippers have more of a woddle and roll while swing impacts have more of a tight wiggle and shimmy. Hope i could help.

Re: Difference in Keitech Swing Impact & Fat Swing Impact

the body on the swing impacts remind me of a ring worm body in a way, a lot thinner than the fat swing impact

Re: Missle baits

@Bigmikey, the lures are scented, but I'm pretty sure there is not any salt because there isn't a need for it, most companies use salt to help add weight to the lures, but missle baits plastic is dense enough that it isn't needed. hope i could help.

Re: Huddle Bugs

I really find it hard to beat a tube out on Winnebago which has the same size craws you are talking about, I've fished the huddle bug before and its a good bait, also if they are gorging themselves I doubt they are examining it that closely, but whatever floats your boat and catches you fish.

Re: Berkley chigger craw

both the 3 and 4 inch are great jig trailers, haven't tried the 5 inch yet though. Also they are by far better than rage craws which need movement to have an action, chigger craws claws move a lot by themselves, especially the crazy leg ones.

Re: Fishing etiquette (or lack thereof)

If you have a horrible voice like I do you can always start singing
In all seriousness though some people don"t know or don't care, like this one guy who decided he didn't want me to fish his dock so he got in the water and literally pushed my boat away...

Re: which fluro to get?

Id take sniper over invisx any day! IMO the invisx is very springy and a nuisance when you want to really feel whats down there, but whatever you do end up going with id recommend you use line conditioner, makes life so much easier.

Re: Line Conditioner with Braid

i don't think it would hurt, but i would rather save the conditioner for the problem children(floro and mono)

Re: Sufix 832 Braid

color isn't a necessity for me to have colored braid so after my first spool of 832 I used the ghost. very smooth line, only problem because of this is it wrapping around the eyes and the line cutting further into the spool when the drag is tightened all the way and your flipping, otherwise i love t...

Re: Phenix Recon Buyer Beware

i think they also have a problem with the glue they use. on my 714 i had the metal ring on top of the reel seat fall off and rattled up and down the blank for the rest of the day until i taped it in place. also had the butt cap break off, and it looked like they just glued it to the eva foam, not ev...

Re: Missle baits

Im not sure how how many there are in a bag but there are more than 6. IMO the D-Bomb is different than the other beavers on the market. The smaller ribs on the body allow it to compact very easily, and also make it move easier in the water. the tail on that is also incredibly thin so it moves more ...

Power Pole or Talon???

I think its about time I invest in one of these seeing as i mostly fish shallow water. If you guys out there that actually have one or the other could share your opinions of them that would be great.
