Re: Magforce-Z induction activation revolutions?

In the beginning of cast it's very fast acceleration and by (inductor's) momentum of inertia creates moment to inductor ramp which creates axial force as a result, which extends twisting inductor. And when twisting inductor is extended, it's the magnetic braking force that keeps its extended, until ...

Re: Kuying Freestyle Walker UL

I have learned to like this rod. It cast's good, but it's moderate action, and if needed casting distance, it really needs full swing. So, long cast can't be performed from tight place with this rod. I think I cast 7 g lure longest with this rod, so rating (1-7 g) of this rod is just perfect. It's p...

Re: Bfs gear for creek and small river smallmouth

For creeks I prefer something 6' or less just to make it more manageable in the trees. Depends on place and trees :) Last times I have fished with 6' rod, and I have more than used to it. But it's way worse than 4'7" rod I have liked. And seems like this doesn't change, because I have already given...

I'll take 2. I see it is made in japan, but no specs such as weight/capacity or whether it has the new gearing.

I was able to pick up two 2600C and two 2601C all NIB which was a pretty cool find. Lucky you! =D> I guess that these wasn't cheap! What is "cheap"...I got them for what I thought was a good price! :) Congrats! :D Just knowing what price those are usually asked, and you bought 4 of those. :D

Re: KastKing Kestrel Elite BFS

My favorite Aliexpress fishing reel name was "worlds lightest fishing reel". That was the name of the reel. Awesome name for Aliexpress reel :D The Reel Test casts KastKing Kestrel Elite BFS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fXXAX3WkIY It casts good! I expected little better with 1.2 g lure, but ha...

For uni…how many loops do y’all do?
Five. But in case of Double Uni I use four for thicker line, and in case of braided, usually 6 for thinner line. (In case of Nylon it's possible that loops for thinner couldn't be increased because line breaks before it tightens.)

Re: Which is your favorite knot?

Uni knot is OK to me almost all. Only exception is long leader FC to braided. I use Uni for spool arbor, and for braided to braided and steel leader to braided or FC leader to swivel. Also loop knot can be done by Uni knot, but then some simple knot is needed to be added for stopping Uni not to tigh...

Re: Which is your favorite knot?

I have two favorite. Uni knot because it's simple and trustworthy and practical. FG knot because it can be reeled in and it's beautiful way to join braided to FC.

Re: Braid to Leader - what's your knot of choice?

I haven't used it much. But surely it weakens FC.

Currently I tie FC knots at my home and store those to Minigrips. In a fishing just tie those my double Uni to my main line.

Do not use leaders often and double uni suffice for now. Would appreciate a very easy and strong small knot that sails through guides, but I have not seen one yet.

Re: KastKing Kestrel Elite BFS

Personally I have find that worst thing in Chinese baitcasting reels I have used is not so good ergonomics. Every Chinese reel so far I have tried has been worth of money. Serviceability of Chinese reels may be poor and spare parts could be impossible to get. But I haven't serviced any Chinese reel,...

Re: Braid to Leader - what's your knot of choice?

Some says that it shouldn't tie too much turns to FG knot because it can't be correctly tightened if there is too much turns. Some says that FG knot needs to be pulled tight until color of knot changes to slightly transparent. But personally I haven't seen any issues with 'too much' turns in FG knot...
