Is anyone throwing braid to leader with these rods? If so, how is it working out? I'm wondering about guide sizing.
thanks

It works just fine

I use the Fg knot

The st croiX have larger guides than the steez Ags

Re: Keys to building light and sensitive rods

Ti guides with torzite are super light I just built some point blank ml spinning rods My 73ml is an ounce lighter than my 76 Ags spinner for comparison and it’s more powerful https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50025246928_1f51313eab_z.jpg Untitled by benjie bates , on Flickr I just used the mvt ree...

I am in the market for a new punching rod. How is the 7'9" xh as far as handling a 1oz weight and some Lilly pads? Any experiences good or bad? I will definitely be using braid on it.
It handles 1oz just fine

Re: Lets hear about your saltwater enthusiast tackle

I fish alot of Daiwa Steez inshore

my current 2 favorite combos:

7'6" Spinning rods w/ Exist
7'2" casting with steez A

On the heavier end I am liking the Zenaq rods. I have a 7'3" Twitch w/ a Certate 5000

Hoping to get my Tobizo soon, planning to pair it with a new Saltiga
