I just recently bought a spool from Greg. Great communication and the spool came as described. I would definitely do business with him again.

Re: New Megabass weight shift system
The weight has a magnet on it which keeps it in the ideal retrieving position, so when you cast it, the weight dislodges from the magnet and shoots towards the rear of the bait giving off that clack!!! Re: New Megabass weight shift system
I bought a couple of there lures with the lbo system in there marinegang line for surfcasting last year. The idea is great but I personally was not impressed. I've thrown x raps, SP minnows, shoreline shiners, duo tide minnows etc etc... And they cast great with little effort. You have to cast these...

Re: Shipping Rods

Almost $85 to ship UPS ground! ](*,) Matt Try the USPS next time much cheaper. Yeah I kno... I was worried they were gon...

I was expecting something different as well... I guess it's a little easier to go to one site to find out the latest and greatest then going to three separate sites.

Re: help with gears sticking
I had a similar problem with an older quantum a few years back... When I got home and opened up the reel the main gear was cracked in between two teeth all the way to the hole that slips over the crankshaft... Not sure how this happens :-k Matt I know how it happens. It is caused by the decal on it...

Re: Daiwa Global
This was in the Sacramento ISE post: On a side note, when we asked about new Daiwa reels, the Daiwa rep. was noncommittal, but he did strongly intimate that we were going to see more new reel introductions than most people were expecting. Maybe it means good things to come [-o< And I got this info ...

Re: Daiwa Global
Just got home from the ISE show. The two reps I spoke to today didn't have any info on the global site and were both surprised when I said the same info was also on the north america site now. I guess we may just have to wait til the 29th to see what happens...
