Re: Ressurecting an Oldie in honor of this weekend's movie debut : TackleTour's Legion of SuperTTuned SuperReels

I want to pass out some credit for the Pixzilla concept. Christian Tanno (are you still out there?), Cal (of course), D.R. Fielding (haven't seen DR in years now) and myself. We birthed Pixzilla. Keep it orange! :big grin:

I own one, one of the new DCs. I like it.
I agree. You need a "none" option in the poll.

Re: Your top UL baits

I like a 1/8 oz. Rat-L-Trap (in perch usually), a 1/8 oz. Pop-r in frog green and a 4" Zoom Finesse Worm on a 1/16 oz. split shot rig. That covers most all of the UL bases for me.

Running up your post count to get to 100 so you can sell something is a sure fire way to get locked out of the For Sale Forum. ;)

Re: Enthusiast 5'6'' casting rod?

I second the Gloomis CR721 IMX. I love mine. Another if you want more backbone is the CR722 GLX. It's very sweet as an all purpose stick but really shines for me topwater.

Re: Equipment Related Pet Peeves

It's a peeve but I can live with, although I don't understand the reasons behind the practice. People who have $50,000 bass boats and a $50,000 tow vehicle adding up to $100,000, and who use $50 rods and $50-75 reels, and similarly low price level gear, like a $2 crankbait from the Bass Pro discoun...

Re: TDZ level wind on a Pixy?

As best I recall, there was a picture at that time from some cool Japanese tackle company (ZPI maybe?) that had an orange 2003 Pixy with a TDZ level wind. As for me, I (rather DR Fielding) did it to all of my Pixzillas because it looked good. I floated some nonsense about line friction on the top of...
