Re: sebile soft magic swimmer

Pssst Carolina Rig them.

Or get some mend it and some of the smallest cheap Luck E Strike hollow swimbaits. Snip the tail off the LES bait and use the mend it to attach it to the tail of the Sebile. It adds a nice slight roll to the bait.

Re: goby baits in non great lakes waters?

Fantastic in rivers where Sculpins are present. Rig on a Football head, split-shot rig, or large swimbait hook and swim them like you do a craw.

I have 10lb Big Game backing under 30lb Tufline. The spool actually rotates when you pull the line.

New Curado 51E has basically no drag.

I have a new (5 trips) Curado 51 E that has basically lost it's drag. If you try to pop a bait from weeds it will basically slip and you have to thumb the spool to pull it free. Out of the water you can lock the drag down and pull line with no real effort at all. You can actually hook a bait on the ...

Re: St. Croix Rage series

I got to play with some of these today. WOW! Feels so nice in the hand, balances with a "Curad-arch" perfectly. The grip feels nice texture wise, but is a bit too squishy.

Re: VMC Spinshot hook

Tackle Warehouse has them. I like the idea, but I think the Gammy version that is coming out in September is a way better idea. You just clip in the dropper and weight and go, no knot to tie, way quicker to adjust.

Re: What should I get

If it were me... and I am assuming you are a righty... Go to American Legacy Fishing Co and sign up for their newsletter and get the $25 off code. Then order two 200E7's, one 200E5, one 50E and one Stradic 3000 (it's a 2500 with a larger spool). That after the coupon is $620. Go to Tacklewarehouse a...

Re: Cleaning and Protecting Cork

The newest or second newest Bass Angler Magazine had an article about cleaning up cork. They said that oak colored wood filler works best. Make sure you clean it really well first.
