I'm loving the subtle color changes on the reel. After so many years the Sol just looks timeless.

I've never had issues with braid, when used appropriately.

But I can remember when braid was getting more popular, and people were using them on their GLXs...

When Mudhole was clearing out blanks, I bought quite a few for $25 each. Very impressed in the quality so far.

But all in all, I stuck to my fishing budget in 2019.

I can't believe how much time has flown by since I first saw, and fell in love with that rod. Congrats!

Now to search for my Racing Viola Monoblock.

I have two favs for mainly lighter baits. It's really about the taper, but sensitivity is always a plus.
1. X7 Shading-X for chatterbaits, Rip baits, and cranks
2. NRX 842 MBR for small cranks, and Scrounger heads

I don’t have an answer as to where to purchase, but those are definitely two different baits. The SKT is more of a flat side crank with a tighter action while the GDS has a round body and wide wobble. Really love those SKT mini baits. Thanks for the info.
