I just built a 6'6" ul mhx blank for a friend of mine to use with a stradic 1000. Used 16-12-7-4's. Seems to work very well.

I used black alconites on my Skeet Reese. Used black eva with some burl cork inlays and green thread trimmed with chrome. Looks cool enough. I'm not a big chrome guide fan.

Stick with fuji guides. I used alconites on my sr But if the budgett allows for sic's. Go sic

You said 30 degrees off in the direction of the spiral?? That doesn't stack your line to one side of the reel?

CH100D7 for longer rods and baits up to an ounce. CH50MG for shorter rods and baits to 3/8.

Chronarch D is the nicest reel I own out of 34. It's not the most expensive either. Go for the D, you'll love it
