Re: whats the longest wait you had for customs on packages
California's customs offices have been really good to me never more than 3 days usually only 1 day in next day out. I had a box of lures hold up in Alaska once for almost 10 days out of Singapore/Shimreels. FedEX actually contacted me as something about the customs form threw a flag and it couldn't ...

Re: Daiwa PX68L JDM not so smooth
My PX68 SPR has one of the smoothest gears, way better than my regular PX68s. Anyone else that own or has owned one feel this too? I'm no stranger to super-tuned highend reels and my SPR out of the box blew me away. The only way to describe it is "Stella" smooth. I can't even tell I'm turning the h...

Re: Painted Knobs
How is durability? I know it's probably too early to ask but I'm curious to how long the paint will hold up and look pristine.

Re: I am looking for a new reel
My favorite "cheaper" tank reel is a Gen 2 Abu Revo STX. I'm sure you could find them in good condition for at or under $100. Way better than the Gen 3 in my opinion. I loved that reel and it's still my go to loaner for friends. Guys also really love the Tatula and they come in at $100 new on sale i...

In theory your swap should've looked something like this if it was the hedgehog studios kit.

Re: New to UL - Which Loomis TSR to go with for all around u
So I get home and am checking out the Cardiff and I notice that while reeling, when the spool is at the bottom of the oscillation, there is a small tick/click. It's also got the tiniest amount of play in the handle when going from forward to back. I thought maybe I was being overly sensitive so I h...

I noticed that the Megabass F4-610XDti Elseil won the TackleTour SuperCast Shootout in 2006 and that the new F4.5-610ti Elseil Evolution C40 is an improvement as it now caters better to vertical presentations due to the extra power. But I'm not going to use if for vertical presentations so am I bet...

I discovered gyotaku about 6 years ago and was extremely intrigued. Sadly my lazy butt has never learned how to do it or even attempted it. I really need to remedy that.

I'd rather have the Plush Pop-X myself  That plush was actually really cool lol I was so tempted. Sadly I'm even tempted by their new Zippo.
