Re: My state chamionship got moved to heaven

Actually I won't be going until October 2nd, and I will be fishing until the 12th. My tournament is on the 13th, with some screwy off limits periods that I was able to avoid completely legally

Re: Suffix Performance Braid and Super Flukes

Sufix is my line of choice when I need braid. It is the best stuff I have used to date. Are you 100% sure that your fluke was rigged perfectly straight? It will cause twist if not.

Re: Swimbait suggestions

One more question: what line? I was planning on using a 20-25 pound fluorocarbon for my deeper swimbaits (i.e. ml bb) and 50 pound braid for my wakebaits.

Re: 50 bass a day

Here in Texas it's not all that hard. I did at least 50 three times last year. Maybe once so far this year. A friend of mine and I decided that we had a couple hours until a meeting we had to attend. We hit the lake at 12 and left at 2:30. We caught and released 100 fish. I caught around 60. I borro...

Re: Falcon Cara 6'10" Heavy

It is a basically well rounded rod. You aren't going to get GLX sensitivity, but you will get above average feel. Enough to tell you when you have a fish on. Do not you MBR844s, I actually use the 854, and love it. As mentioned above, the 610 has strength. I like at least a seven footer, but this is...

Re: Swimbait suggestions

Let me re phrase that. I have a BCR854 and a BCFR894 by Loomis. Which one would be a better choice. The 894 has a Curado 200DHSV and the 854 has a Chronarch 100.

Re: Swimbait suggestions

I currently use the 6" XPS with swapped out hooks. I will be replacing everything with Owner ST-36 hooks and Owner Hyperwire split rings

My state chamionship got moved to heaven

I about did a back flip, told my friend that if this was a joke I would kill him, and started compiling a "to buy" list. I wil...

I am a junior in high school. I have worked the last 4 summers to reach a goal. I finally reached it! I bought a Champion 201 DCR Elite last night. Ran a compression check, the results were perfect. Test drove it, perfect. Brand new hydraulic steering cables, new batteries, and new tires. Bought fro...
