For anyone interested the Kage ULs are now on the Daiwa site. I have seen and handled several of them and they are very appealing. They are not built to be the lightest, the ones I have handled all had heavier guides than an ultralight needed but they feel great and have a nice handle.

Has any one heard if they are being discontinued or up dated. I notice Tackle Warehouse is discounting them.

I really think it is just about money, not product. For the right money I would certainly change brands, of underwear or almost anything else.

I handled them back in August and liked them enough to order some. Have not received them yet, I'm not sure if any have shipped yet.
