Ususally the Shimano 2000 is a Compact model so it is on a 1000 body, so it will have a smaller foot, the 3000 foot will probably be the same as a 2500 because the 3000s are usually a compact model also. I am not so sure on the Daiwa 2500 vs Shimano 2500/3000 foot.

Has anyone used the new Daiwa Theory, it virtually the same as a Luvias minus 1BB. It looks really good with the raw Zaion finish.

Has anyone had any experience with the Theory though, it is a fair bit cheaper.

How does the new luvias compare to the 12 luvias.

What would be the 'real world' differences.

Wondering if it is possible or if anyone has tried putting a megabass IS BFS spool in a T3 reel?

T3's and the Z series (eg. Z2020) reels are amazing and you can sometimes get them cheap, they cast excellent and have one of if not the best mag braking systems ever.

The OG Zillion platform and lookalikes (SV103) seem to be very popular. They are a good choice as well as the DC series of Shimano reels, it's really up to what you prefer.
