Daiwa Spinning reels are fantastic and they hold up great to all kinda of abuse, I have a Daiwa lexa and freams both in the 2000 sizes and use them for finesse Saltwater game (Aussie yellowfin bream, cos its where I live) and they hold up great, my friend has a 2000 Daiwa Aird reel and caught a nice...

From personal experiences I would recommend the Tatula, I have some brilliant top end JDM custom reels but seriously the Tatula still feels special, everytime I pick it up I know it is a quality reel that will never let me down.

Re: Ci4+ vs. Sustain
I would go a Sustain or a Stradic FK simply because I prefer the metal reels, they feel more solid and smooth. The FK and Sustain also have more powerful drag stacks than the Ci4+.
