I know the Chronarch 50E 6.4 and Brenious 7.7 gears go into the Aldebaran MG, but how about the Core 50MG7 gears? I am looking to swap another Aldebaran and have found the MG is normally cheaper than the MG7, by enough to order the gear sets. What other reels are in the same family?

Standard ch50e set is a 6.4 ratio. It is all that is needed to the swap but a drag upgrade is never a bad idea. I was thinking the same thing. They're really nice baits and I love tossing them.
