Re: The one combo you can't live without If you could only k

Definitely my Calcutta TE200DC and St. Croix LTB "Carolina Rig" rod! This combo does it all! By far my favourite rod and the reel can cast anything.

Re: Calcutta 200GTB

I had that reel and I have the Calcutta TE200GT. Although the latter is the better reel and definitely worth the money, the former is a great performing reel. If you like the way it feels in your hands, then get it! It's a great caster. What do you plan on using it for? What line?

Re: Shimano CUMULUS

I do the vast majority of my fishing off of our dock, and by mid-summer I would call the grass moderate to mod-heavy. This is when I generally put the 7'1" Cumulus down, as there are other sticks I feel more comfortable with in this type of cover. Ok thank you! So it'd be better fishing light grass...

#3, the Tru Tungsten Tru Gill, sold for $49.99. Very lifelike in the water!

Shimano CUMULUS

I was at the local fishing store and was playing with the Cumulus 7'1" Medium-Heavy powered rod (rated to 15lb.).

Does anybody have experience with this rod throwing senkos?

How well does it work for spinnerbaits? I want to compare it to the BCR893.
