PB 6.18lbs 21×16.5. I caught her on a quantum kvd 7'6" XH telescopic rod, Shimano citica 200E, 50lb PP and a 4" 1.5 oz prop bait. I think the big girls up here take ducklings.

Re: Tackle addict vs fisherman?
I feel like I am both. It's not just fishing tackle. I've been told I prioritize my hobbies and take no offense. There was a time when I worked to ski, the more I skied the more I desired quality equipment. Now I work to hunt and fish. I'll tell you what quality equipment improves comfort, efficienc...

Re: Megabass Faust
Toledo bend is hot at moment. I like a little 560 acre lake called Pinkston. But anywhere in Texas really you have a decent shot. Can't figure out how to post pics here on my phone friend or would show ya :-) It took me a while to figure out how to post pictures too. I tried the photobuck website a...

Re: Megabass Faust
I'm planning on using it for many things. 3/8 and 1/2 deep jigs/t-rigs, smaller soft body swimbaits Then some punching and frogging. It is supposed to be a verso talk stick, damn ice always comes too fast. :crying: It's 80 right now here in Texas :-) Jealous, what is the best lake in Texas to catch...

Re: New Steez rods
Website reads 108g= 3.81oz a bit lighter than the old harrier. 3dx tech is supposed to be lighter and more powerful. I wonder if the decrease in weight is because of the blank or reduced reel seat.

Re: New Steez rods
I think the Air beam reel seat on the old Harrier looks way better. I've never held a zillion but it looks like a similar reel seat, not sureally how I feel about it. I wonder if that 3dx tech will improve sensitivity
