Re: Tackle Warehouse Customer Service Rod Review

It is unclear is how you justified the conversion of the later arriving rods (the original shipment) to your own property. Placing custom hook holders on a rod you possess is clear indication you believed they were yours. You used the quote "making things right", an extremely vague commercial term, ...

Re: Favorite ultra light topwater lures?

-Yamamoto's Sugoi Splash is an awesome popper. I have one with the
paint peeling off and it still kills the fish. I really like the Gunfish 75,
but you really need a soft tip to walk it right. it doesn't walk like the 95
for sure.

Re: Best Frog rod

I use a dobyns champion 735 for walking frogs.
Has everything a frog rod needs, light tip with
a faster action and plenty of backbone.
I don't know if its the best because its the best
I haven't tried any other, but it works fine for me.

GO BLUE! From the Fusker state  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzsSD3wb9vs Hail, Hail from SoCal... So trying not to threadjack too much... Belippy, granted you are the pixy expert, in your opinion, do any of the older pixy models (excluding PX68/ type R...) differ performance wise? I know mo...

Re: What's your favorite Liberto PIXY (w/poll)

FWIW, the yellow Pixies look outstanding on the blue St. Croix LTs. Spot on assessment there... Not quite Michigan colors but close enough. I remember back in the early 90s buying an old school gl2 blank because of the navy blue matte finish and getting it wrapped in maize. Those were better times ...

Re: Help: New T3 from Japan

my t3 recently started developing grooves where the friction plate should have been. I called daiwa to ask if they could ship a metal friction plate for my reel but several representatives had no idea what I was talking about. For those of you who received this part from daiwa after purchasing a t3...

Re: Daiwa SV103

I want the spool :D Same spool as the Steez SV and SS SV. It should be available from Daiwa USA in a few months. So it will not fit the OG Zillion. I was under the impression that the SV 103 had the body of the OG Zillion with a 103 SV spool. That's correct. There's a spacer at the edge of the spoo...

Re: Dobyns light jig, finesse plastics rod

Love how you couldn't stick to just the scope of your original need, and had to
get the 704cb to boot. If its any comfort at all, the 704cb is one of my favorite
dobyns... vision 110s, staysee 90s, KVD 1.5, gunfish 95, I always have at least one
of these rods with me.

Re: Is anyone else anti BFS

One thing that does exist is high pressured fresh water, 4-6lb line is the max you can use, and bass can push 10+ lbs in some of these unique waters (hasn't happened to me yet, max I ever caught on BFS was 9 lbs). So you are absolutely correct, there are times that only light tackle will do. You mea...

Re: 2016 New Steez?

Shame on Daiwa for releasing so many variants of reels. Shame on them for trying to innovate. Why can't they just leave well enough alone? What good could come of trying (and in certain instances failing) to reinvent the wheel? What a horrible, horrible thing for Daiwa to do fishing enthusiasts at ...
