Re: sunline almight?
Good to know. I've been running YGK for a couple years and it sinks dreadfully slow.

Re: sunline almight?
Are you running it on spinning gear? Running the #0.6 on a reel and it’s been great so far. I had run the Defier D braid sinking before and I prefer the Almight. I have always defaulted to Spro Little John in cell mate or rootbeer. My father in law started using black cranks and could get bit when the bite was tough. My ...

Re: When Nothing is Working, What Do You Throw?
My late father in law threw a Gene Larew Mega Ring Tube (discontinued) and always managed to salvage a day.
My preference will always be a Spro Bronzeye Frog, first, when the wind isn't too bad or a Missle Baits D-Bomb.

Re: Normal for Daiwa rotor to feel "sticky" with bail up?
If you mean you're trying to turn the handle in order to flip the bail from cast position to retrieve position, then yes. There is a ramp under the rotor that is SUPPOSED to trip the bail, but you should never use it that way. Flip the bail over by hand after the cast. If you do it with the handle,...

Don't think I've ever ordered from PLAT. Easy to deal with?

More affordable line guide than the one on Tackle Trap for Tatula
I have some old 100s and 100 Type Rs that were my father in laws. I want to replace the line guides that have grooves in them. What are my options and I'd rather not spend $66 when the reels aren't probably worth that.
