Re: Predictions for the new Steez sv tw
Got mine as well from Japan Tackle pre-order. Overall a very beautiful reel. Haven't taken it out on the water yet, but, out of the box, here are a few things that are interesting: Good: No more screw for opening the side plate. It is now a switch that has 2 positions (lock or open) - makes it quick...

Does anyone know what improvements Megabass made to the IP vs. the stock JDream?

Re: BFS Fantasies do come true...
Hmmm... Good question. Didn't really occur to me, but I do hold the BFS rods like a fairy holding a wand. No issues palming with the Shimano BFS XG '16 on it. Happy to put it side-by-side with a Criffhanger if helpful for you (can take a picture and I have heard great things about the Shading X. Ou...

Re: BFS Fantasies do come true...
That rod is on my wishlist for my BFS setups. Stunning! I bet that 4.5 was a blast on it! =D> It's a good stick and yeah, the 4.5 felt like a double digit on this stick... But if you make a video fishing with it, you'll have to put classical music or Disney music in the background ;) I can stomach ...

Re: Counterfeit Megabass Reels?
Same here, the ones I got are legit! If I were to counterfeit a reel, a high-end T3 variant wouldn't be my first choice... There may just be way too much inventory out there and not enough demand. The T3 TW design is polarizing, so some dealers may just be getting ahead of the eventual fire sale to ...

Awesome stuff as usual, Ryan! I think you've caught more fish in one video than I did all of last season
I'm definitely getting me one of them TW tank tops in my July 4th TW order!

Re: BFS Fantasies do come true...
How do you find the F2-63XK-S? I've always been curious about a solid blank. I have so many questions but don't know where to start! I love BFS. It works perfectly for Australian river Bass, nearly all my gear is BFS or close to it. I was thinking of adding some kirisame bc rods The "all solid" bla...

Re: Counterfeit Megabass Reels?
Guilty as well... I got some of these for $220 last fall. Somehow this same seller seems to have a never ending supply of FX68 Rosso and Viola. And MB sells them on their website for $400+ (it's actually the only reel in stock at MB Japan). It's either counterfeit, stolen goods, money laundering, so...

Re: Reels megabass vs daiwa
When it comes to MB reels, we're talking higher end of the higher end. A Steez is already an enthusiast reel, so an IS is for enthusiastic enthusiasts  I own both and they "feel" different (the finish on the IS feels finer) but I think it's all in my head - a blind test is in order! To me, it's...

How about a 5 lb 5 oz smallmouth \:D/ . Caught this one last night just as the sun was going down on a wacky rigged Berkley money maker with a 1/8 oz wacky jig head member Smalljaw poured for me. Don't usually use this worm, but I ran out of Jackall flick shakes and picked these up locally. Think I...

Re: Show your ride
You guys know that my boat will do circles around you guys right ... . . :crying: With the bimini top up or down? Here is my "second" ride, the grey one, after strong winds caused a bit of a nautical disaster (ripped our dock off and beached on the neighbors' dock). But it could have been a lot wor...

Don't know how to feel about this month. You can get the Griffon 6cc in that very color for $7 in the outlet store. But, hey, I'm probably better off without another t-shirt that won't fit me unless I rewind 25 years
