Why the frak is it ...
If I WANTED to slip a stick through a slat 1/2" wide to win a prize at a carnival, I couldn't do it in 1,000 years. Turn that stick into a new rod tip through a garage door opening and I'm like Luke Skywalker bull's-eye womp rats in my T-16 back home, they're not much bigger than two meters.

Re: Raid Japan Rods
I've got 3 RAID rods. 1 Spinning 2 Casting - Joker and the Baltaro Tell us about the Joker and Baltaro. I only know of them from the brief description on a site selling them. All around rods? Technique specific? How would them compare to the MB P5 line or the Shimano Exprides? I wouldn't call eithe...

Steez A TW HLC mod
A few weeks back, I thought I'd sold my Steez A TW HLC, unfortunately, the deal fell through and I honestly couldn't lower my price any further soooooo, I remembered seeing on board sponsor japantackle.com a "mild" spool for the HLC. My problem wasn't as much finding the spool was "wild", I just was...

Re: RAID JAPAN
Just got my third RAID JAPAN rod. First was the Gladiator Anti GA-70HS-ST "Power Nose", a finesse spinning rod. It impressed me. Next was the "Joker", a medium 6'10" casting rod. Finally the 6'10" MH casting rod. They remind me of the early days of Megabass styling.

Re: Abu Garcia Revo aficionados question
Measure off about 50 - 75 yds of "X#" test as your primary line and fill from spool to X# with backing. I've been doing it for decades and it works fine.

Re: Daiwa TD-Z
What other uncanny reels are out there? I know the chinease reels are a gold mind of copies but I was surprised to look back at the earlier Korean OEM reels and see such blatant Daiwa and Shimano visual knock offs. You may want to remember the original Daiwa Millionaire was a part for part replica ...

Re: RAID JAPAN - Baits
I caught a LMB @ 4lbs with a threadfin shad about this size, 94mm, sticking from it's throat. Figured I'd try this one to #MatchTheHatch

Re: JDM Site Missing Evergreen Brand
Interesting thread. I would argue the currency factor is what is really in play here. The JDM product is a good 20% cheaper due to the US dollar's strength vis-a-vi the yen. To wit, the US dollar (as of 5/2) is approximately 1 US dollar = 137 YEN. In 2013, 1 US dollar = 97.60 YEN. So, in about a de...
