Re: Tranx - can we expect LHW versions?
I have submitted the information to the product team. I spent a few days in MN earlier this year where I watched lefty reels fly off the shelves. These were anglers that are using both right and left hand reels to switch off while fishing. It seems those big bucktails really wear the anglers out ;)...

Re: Tranx - can we expect LHW versions?
Just wondering if there have been any further discussions for a southpaw? I would by one in a heartbeat for casting Double Cowgirls and other bucktails.

Re: The Search For One : Guess Who's Back Building Rods?
On the longer rods I notice they use a reel seat with no trigger. Is this a new trend I've missed? I noticed that as soon as TW put em up. I've never seen that before either. I have no idea what that's about :-k . I was gonna get an 8ft cranking rod. I wanted a 8ft deep cranking rod with more sensi...

Re: The Search For One : Guess Who's Back Building Rods?
Does anyone have any insight why this rod jumped up $100 in one bound?

Re: 2014 Curado I
We just don't sell enough of them. We have offered them in several models and versions and they just do not sell enough to continue. Everyone wants higher speed reels. You really don't need a slow gear ratio to crank with these days. The reels have more power than they used to. I like the slower ra...

Same here. My brother and I stopped at the Green Bay Cabela's so he could use the facilities before the Packer game this past Sunday...long story short, walked out with two Sahara 500s for UL ice sticks.vinnieb729 wrote:I use them exclusively for ice fishing. Shimano Calcutta 201DC - Service Center Clean & Lube
If I send the above reel to the service center for a basic cleaning and lube, will oil or grease be used in the spool bearings?

Re: New glx line coming soon??!!
You will not have the Xpeditor service if the rod model has been discontinued. The rod is still covered by the lifetime warranty. It's like you're speaking a foreign language here Bantam. It reads like English to me :-k I understand what Bantam is saying. It's just a shame that a few rods wil...

Re: New glx line coming soon??!!
Why do we need to say we are doing away with the service? Going forward we have moved to Wild Card on the new rod models. Same program with better service. No charge and replacement through the dealer. I realize this is not great for everyone, but for most of the customers this is a great service. ...
