Can’t speak for the SV70 but the non SV80 is a dandy little reel to fish in the river. I filled it with 15 pound braid and changed the bearing out to hedgehog airs and it is very controllable for me with a mag setting of 2.

I forgot to mention that I did manage to catch 4 smallmouth today with the 80. When it came down to it I didn't have the heart to take the Steez off of the Utility Player so I put the 80 on a Tatula Elite 6-9 Skipping Jig instead. Makes a nice little setup for the river.

I saw that too. Seems like a lot of hype, excuse me "hyper", for a basically budget priced small BC reel. Might be something no one has heard of just yet or may be the new zillion HD or Exist that we have all seen.
