I'm with Johnny A on this one I mean Denny Brauer has won over 2 million dollars with a TD-S 7 1/2 foot stick and if you shop around they can be had for less than 100 bucks.

Re: Personal Best LM
Yeah man great fish!
I caught a couple of 9 lbers the other night too and hooked a third that would have easily gone 12lbs. Only in my case the alarm clock went off and I had to get up and go to work!!!

Re: Steez Squared
I was off today and went for a little while this morning. Fished in New River and caught 3 smallies. Two on jig and one, believe it or not, on homemade chatterbait. I was really just checking the action of the bait and one hit it, in 36 degree water no less. Man that chatterbait feels wicked through...

Re: Steez Squared
I know you will be pleased with the rods peformance. In 38 degree water one would think that the smallmouth were not hitting the jig that aggressively yet through this rod there was a pronounced "thump" . I set the hook on a couple of rocks too before I got used to the rods sensitivity. Regards DAIW...

Steez Squared
I couldn't resist the temptation any longer and broke down and got a new Steez rod to go along with my reel. I chose the 7'1" Heavy action Compile-X rod over the 6'7" Med Heavy mainly due to the fact that the handle on the 7'1" is slightly longer. After fishing with the rod the last two days I can s...
