Re: Megabass evoluzion F3 1/2-63xgti super griffon info
I have one as well. Use it for cranking as per the name. Don't buy it, but you can message me the link where it's available

Re: Morrum ZX 3600
I have the ZX3600 MAG JDM version, very nice reel if you like round baitcasters. I use it for cranking and true to the description it casts 3/16 cranks with standard spool and bearings easily. Matched it with Megabass Griffon rod.

Re: Looking for a Ultra light casting rod.
I don't think the Majorcraft BFS rods would be able to do 2 gram hardbaits well let alone 1 gram. I would think their tapers are too fast to load up properly but maybe I'm wrong. My Volkey 68L certainly isn't up to the task and I would think that 2-4 gram plugs are better suited to a trout rod such...

Re: Best light JDM spinnerbait rod
That is quite the difference going from the 6'3 spinnerbait rod to a 5'4 rod. Also the 6400 is a good bit less powerful than the 753. However, if the 6400 is a option then you might want to consider the SJR700,not quite the difference in length. I have the SJR720 IMX that was destined to be convert...

Re: Best light JDM spinnerbait rod
Yes, I think I probably end up custom. I find a blank that I think would work as an UL spinnerbait rod, the loomis SJR6400 IMX. I will just need to convert it into a casting rod

Best light JDM spinnerbait rod
I hope someone can help. I have a Lommis SBR751C, I absolutely love it, but I find it a bit heavy (in weight) and the handle too long so I am looking for a JDM equivalent in Megabass or Evergreen. I really like the light tip of the Loomis with the extra fast action, the casting is pin-point accurate...

I know it's outside your budget but the IMX CR721 worth every cent. Maybe look for a second hand one.

Re: Help me pick a BFS Combo
I would go for Volkey 692XUL + Aphas Air. I have that combo and use it for rainbow trout, tremendous fun. Trout-BFS.jpg That is a great looking combo. I have had someone else recommend the Alphas Air. Does your Volkey have a soft tip for throwing the little hardbaits? Is it whippy like a trout rod?...
