Scrounger Combo ?

I was just wondering what combos you guys are using when throwing a scrounger jig. I thought 'i read somewhere about Aaron Martens using a spinning combo but I was just wondering if anyone uses a baitcast combo with like a core 50 or pixy. Thanks in advance for any advice :)

Smaller ones 3/16 and 1/4 I'm using on MBR 842/MG51/10lb braid. 3/8 onMBR843/steez/20 braid.No problem.

I keep a 1/4oz scrounger with a fluke on year round, usually on one of my custom Lamiglas MB841E's. I have no problem throwing it long distances with a Curado and 10 or 12lb line.

I toss the smallest one with a tiny fluke on my DX701 and a Certate Finesse Custom 2004.
