Is there any other species?

KVD is a lock to win it but I'm really rooting for Aaron.

Who do you think will win this Feb.

Go Aaron! I believe he is going to do it this time!

I don't know. I'd love for him to win.

Unfortunately for him, KVD is part cyborg. :D

nope only because its on a river..
Should be a flipping bite maybe a Trap bite and KVD could knock them out, but my guess is it will be WIDE open..
im hoping to make it down there..

Come on Trey--You should know Martens love for rivers, where he fishes when at home, and his favorite technique....but it should be wide open. Could be who gets to the best spot first and claims it...

The last time the classic was held on the Red, AMart finished 9th. KVD was 30th.

He is real good in CA delta so don't count him out. He can flip, pitch, and trap as good as anyone else.

I wasn't a big fan of Mr. Martens in the past, but have since changed my position. The guy is very unique and interesting. I probably enjoy listening to him more than any other elite pro. I think he certainly has paid his dues on the tournament trail to have a Classic win come his way this time.

I also saw him as a bit whinny during some of the tournaments. This link was posted and after reading it I changed my opinion. Understanding the man has put much into perspective for me.

"Always the bride's maid, never the bride."

I was 13 years old when I used to pick his brain when he used to work at Turner's Outdoorsman in the Valley in SoCal. He was a wealth of information then, and obviously still is now.

He's a very unique individual, and here's hoping the best for him. His mom and I rap about his accomplishments every year whenever I have the pleasure of running into her at local shows.
