Your 3 go to/favorite baits, and three you hate?

Is there any other species?

Best producing baits for me this year:

lipless cranks
neko rig (usually jackall neko worm)
keitech paddletails

honorable mention: MB Dark Sleeper

Little confidence in:

deep diving cranks
a-rig
big spinnerbaits

Over the past couple of years I've had a lot of success with:
Finesse/shakeyhead worm on a 1/32oz jig head
Inline spinner
3in Tubes

Some lures I "hate" would be:
1/4oz+ Jigs
1/4oz+ Large spinnerbaits
1/2+ Lipless Cranks

One thing to not is that I only hate these lures as I'm no good with them haha. I've always had more luck fishing downsized gear, but really want to make an effort in getting better at using larger sized baits this year.

Favorite:
- Topwater Walkers
- Poppers
- Lipless Crankbaits

Hate:
- 98% of soft plastic baits/technique. I mostly use them, when I need to rest my arms/shoulders or when the fishing is super tough. I don't enjoy them much.
- Same as above
- Same as above

I kinda have love/hate thing going with crankbaits. They are definitely my favorites, but I lose a lot of them. That's probably why I love topwater. I still have many topwater baits from 25 to 40 years ago. Crankbaits? Not that many.
