El Salto in November

Post by Rodster14 » Sun Sep 29, 2019 6:57 am

I’m getting ready to go back to Angler’s Inn on Lake El Salto. We will be going back over the Thanksgiving break. I know about the staples like 6 inch Senkos, Power Worms, lizards, lipless cranks, Whopper Plopper’s, Rico’s, jigs, etc. I was wondering if anyone has some ideas about baits I might be missing for that time of year.

Dont forget about big lipless baits like the 1 oz Mag Trap. Strike King makes a BIG lizard called the iguana. A friend who fishes there swears by the black with a blue tail color scheme down there.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.
