Pro ar Prometheus landing net LN 652-Shad

I just read the review of the Promar Promesh Landing Net LN 652.
I have a 15 foot bass tracker.
I like that this net extends to 4 feet and when not in use contracts so to fit in my boat.
My question is can this be used to catch live shad?

Any comments or other suggestions would be appreciated.
