Best advice i could give you is stay away from the bank! Theres lots of good deep open water weedlines on Newboro.

Fantastic chain of lakes. I was up there in July with a friend at his cottage. Had a 5.25 smallie out of Indian lake fishing the deep side of a point. Plenty of good largemouth fishing shallow, either on the shoreline or the weedy flats. Smallie are more nomadic and harder to track down, but are generally in 15ft plus.
