I've always done great with electric shad.
Re: What color Senko should I use?
You really only need three colors. A black with blue flake for low light and darker water. Green pumpkin for all-around and #177 smoke with black and silver flake around schools of bait. They all catch fish, but you can get carried away with senko colors if you over think it.

I roll with a natural pattern, like Watermelon (in clearer water) and Green Pumpkin in (less clear water.)
Then a light pattern, like Blue Pearl or a Shad type.
And a dark pattern, like a Black and Blue.
I try not to over complicate things.

Green pumpkin black flake, green pumpkin/watermelon laminate, and smoke with black and purple. All of my staples
Re: What color Senko should I use?
I only throw black and blue now.
I experimented one day where I brought 1 of every color that I own and would just switch colors after every fish. I went through several colors and they all caught a fish.

Black and white.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.
Re: What color Senko should I use?
Color I always liked, especially for 5" or under, was the Smoke Hologram Blue Purple Silver Laminate. Just a very baitfish looking color and always worked well. I've known people to swear by the "Red Shad" 2 tone color, in not just Senko's but many other worms, I have just never personally succeeded with that color.
