Re: What color Senko should I use?
Green Pumpkin/ Amber Laminate has become my go to color.
Re: What color Senko should I use?
I use a short leader on a carolina rig (brass n glass beads) in heavily stained water - and they hone in on clacking then the senko pretty easy. My favorite color is black with blue flecks.

Green pumpkin always does well, and I have had good luck with the purple with flecks.

Check these out. There are many great colors that will work for you. My favorite colors are cajun neon and mardi gras. Both of those colors work well in green cloudy water.

if anyone is still looking at this subject....
first things first always fish something that you have confidence in, if you don't your gonna half way fish it and most likely won't catch anything
as far a senkos go i like these 3 colors more than any others and rarely fish any other colors
1: junebug .... you cant go wrong i can say that with any soft plastic for that matter
2:black / blue flake.... especially when its cloudy water or over cast.. early in the morn... shoot ere'boddy knows dat' shoooot..!
3:956 watermelon with copper flake / orange with red flake.. is killer when they won't hit the dark colors
those are my any time what i'm gonna throw and i have tried plenty of colors if i was gonna choose 2 more it would be.
motor oil / big red flake or bamabug...
yup.... tight lines

Confidence is 1st and foremost then comes presentation, then color. [/quote]
well said. I killed them on watermelon/lemon laminate and green pumpkin/watermelon laminate last summer in all water conditions. smoke with purple flake is real good in partially stained water too.

tonym is right,
that green senko and black flake is very productive, not just where your fishing.
plain black usually works very well too.
