Which is your preferred Large Mouth Bass Finesse Technique

This with any variety of small soft plastics for pretty much anything that swims.

I fish heavy cover.

So I enjoy frogging, pitching, and senko's (if things are tougher) ...

I consider my "light" or finesse technique as a 5" senko on 30lbs braid on a heavy rod.....from there things get heavier.

I'll break out the light sticks for smallies...but generally pass on fishing for smallies.

For me either a zoom lil critter craw 1/16 oz reins tungsten and poor boys Erie darter (old ones) on an 1/8oz jighead

I caught most of my bass with a Metanium DC + Doybns champion M rod, with the DC reel, I can cast weight 4 or 5 inch senko with no pressure, usually fish from morning to noon.

Besides drop shot as you mentioned, 2nd would be a 4" weightless Senko either wacky or Texas rigged and 3rd would be a 3" tube with 1/16 oz jig head inside.

and number 3 would be a Ned Rig. I run those 3 in rotation almost every trip out there.

This... I throw the owner bullet heads (3/16) a lot, with small worms/creatures or keitechs, have thrown the ball heads you mentioned with 4" Easy Shiners too. Awesome finesse technique, and I have been throwing them on a 7' Medium fast rod w/ 10Fluoro pretty easily.

My top three are all listed here. May I recommend the Ikes Finesse Rugby Jig by VMC for the shakeyhead. It is stellar.
