I use a 6'10 ml dropshot rod seems to work good so far, don't lose many fish. Although i don't really set the hook just reel and let the rod do the work with a little bit of pressure.

I actually have a Jackall Poison rod called 'Power Inch Wacky' designed just for it. it is one of the techniques that i prefer on a spinning rod presentation.

I normally use a 6'5" ML ms-x. I do the same thing, just kind of let it load and then keep the pressure on. Although that 610 m/x megatop tatula seems really promising. Haven't had enough time with it to know, yet, but holy crap that rod is sensitive to bites and nibbles!
