TT or TTF ... Which came first for you?
TT or TTF ... Which came first for you?
We have a similar poll running on our Facebook Fan page... similar but different. So which came first for you, the main site or the forum?

What if it's been so long + you're so old you don't remember?
Re: TT or TTF ... Which came first for you?

The first time I've been to Tackle Tour was in the early autumn of 2007 when I looked up the Megabait LA Slider and Charlie and found the URL to Tackle Tour.

Wow, it's been a while, but I remember researching the chronarch 50mg soon after it was in the catalogues, finding the TT review, then being awestruck by all the detailed info in the forum about everything... which triggered the MONKEY
But even after the monkey was in the picture, I luckily held off a LONG, LONG time before entering the darkside
Now there's no turning back. Thanks a lot TT..

I found the reviews great when I was looking for my first dating reel, took awhile but I gave into the forum last year.

TT first .
Kinda funny, but I didn't even know that there was a "forum" on this site for a few years .
I started reading TT for the reviews. I'm pretty sure Sandman and others from BFHP got me to TT.
After a while I "found" the forum and started lurking for a year or two before I signed up .

I've been checking out the reviews on TT for over a year, and I just recently realized there's a forum here.

Geez, that was back in 06 or 07.
There is a chance that, after a google search, this is the first thing I read from the site...

Perhaps I am alone in this, but my answer must be "none of the above"...I actually found Tackle Warehouse first(searching for a specific rod I couldn't find locally),and discovered links to here, from there.Kind of strange I suppose how that panned out,but that's how it went down.Kind of "reverse advertising",if you will...

Re: TT or TTF ... Which came first for you?
I was once a simple man. BPS extreme rod, ABU 5500C3, LIMITED selection of lures, money in bank account. Life was sure alot simpler back then. Once day, I was looking for spinning reel for my dad's birthday. Okuma alumina I remember.
Somehow I stumbled upon the TT review. I was reading reviews upon reviews, it just blew my mind. It took me a bit to discover the significance of the TT forum. It revealed to me the meaning of JDM, reel tuning and that evil bait Monkey. I got my paw on my first JDM, a Daiwa Alphas. That's my ticket into the dark side. Everything was a blur since. Next thing I know, I got more tackle than I can use in a lifetime or 2 . my bank account went empty, credit card bill sky rocketed.
The URGE never did stop, there is always something better and shinier on the horizon. I still look constantly over my shoulder for Mr. Banana breath. I blame it all on Cal. And my fellow TT brethren.
