Tennessee Bassin'

Post by rubs96 » Mon Dec 09, 2013 12:25 pm

Heading to Nashville just after Christmas and was wondering what good fishing is available nearby. I'd like to get a guide and would love to catch a striper on the fly or standard bass gear!

Any tips or info is greatly appreciated.

p.s. driving down from the great white north!

I would also go striper right now along with world-class smallies...float and fly and hair jigs!

If you want to catch some stripers, head to the Cumberland River with one of the many available guides. I don't know any of them myself, but there are quite a few good ones. If you were headed to East TN, I'd be able to help out more. Hope you enjoy the trip!
