Why the frak is it ...

Post by Johnny A » Wed Jul 12, 2023 12:25 pm

If I WANTED to slip a stick through a slat 1/2" wide to win a prize at a carnival, I couldn't do it in 1,000 years. Turn that stick into a new rod tip through a garage door opening and I'm like Luke Skywalker bull's-eye womp rats in my T-16 back home, they're not much bigger than two meters.

Never snapped a tip, but years ago I put a 1-3kg Pflueger Patriarch XTR spin rod run through a door and the security screen door slammed and caught the tip, bent it in a irregular shape and I near died.

Opened the door and it sprang back and to this day it's been perfect.

What scares me is the 2 kids in the back seat with rod tips sitting just out of reach across the front passenger seat - they keep reaching for them and one day one of them will get one - guessing my youngest Calyx...
