Finally sprung for an Airy Red Pixy. Very Nice!

Now I'm looking for a split grip rod w/ bling in the below $400 range. I seldom fish greater than 5/8 oz. This is not necessarily for the Pixy. Thinking about the 6'3" Steez.

Any suggestions?

I put a Red Pixy on a Abu Regista, which is red, and it looks killer, and is a great rod. They have several model ratings. About $250.

P.S., Thats the funniest looking monkey I've ever seen in that avatar!

You should check out a custom rod for sure. I am getting a rod built with a very good blank, set up just for me, with bling, under $400. There are some pics at the end of this post, ( not my rod ) and I'm sure there are many more if you do a search.

Harry, Harry, Harry. The answer is right in front of you. Of course you buy the Steez and use it while you are waiting for the custom rod to come in. And, just a heads up, a need for instant gratification soon turns into a need for constant gratification. Kind of like that squirrels drinking problem.
