These are daiwa imported rods, not as perfect like original japan daiwa rods..we prefer jdm daiwa rods!!

In Lithuania generation after generation have fished with spinning gear...There aren't many baitcasters to buy...I guess this is because baitcasters don't have many advantages against spinning gear...90% of lithuanians use only spinning gear.Others also use spinning gear,but they also have baitcasters for fishing with jerkbaits.Lots of lithuanians believe,that it is almost impossible to throw 1/4oz and lighter lures with a baitcaster.There is no need for vendors to import a lot of baitcasters...I also fish only with spinning gear, and i don't need any baitcasters...maybe i'll buy one later

I think that people in Europe are more open to accept changes than in America or other parts of the world. Let's talk about the USA, particularly. In America many people view many things as taboos and refuse to accept new trends unlike what happens in Europe. That's why we see legal weed smokers in Amsterdam, same-sex marriages in most European capitals, etc. Those things are taboos for Americans and we won't see things changing there in the near future. The same happens in fishing. Someone said that bass fishing must be done with baitcasting tackle and using spinning gear became a taboo...
Just take a look here and here also to see that one of the strongest reason to use baitcasters is spinning gear being a taboo. It doesn't mean spinning gear is better than baitcasting, no. Simply, there are techniques in which spinning will be more comfortable to use.

IMO it is because we fish more power presentations and larger lures.

If anyone fishes spinning with 1oz + Cranks and SBs DEEP and feel that it will out perform BC over a long day...then you's mo' man 'dan me!

I have found it rather hard to pitch a 1/4 oz jig just to the right edge of a 10" diameter stump 30 feet away with a spinning reel. If you can, you are more man than me, too.

Actually, that is pretty easy to do. It is all about practice and well set components (lure line rod reel)
If you have used your spinning gear as much and as often as your BC gear, you would be able to do the same.

- if you can cast with your BC 1/4oz stickbait into 1 square yard target 50-60yards away, you are the man too ;)

Papa had a bad example, because almost nobody fishing from the shore in the USA uses bait casters either. I shorefish and I have only seen less than 2 percent of shore fishermen with a bait caster in their hand. Its the people who are really into fishing or are in boats that get into baitcasters.
