JDM flipping and jig rod
What rod do you guys use for flipping /pitchin/ jig rod in the weeds and heavy brush? jigs from 1/2 oz to 1 1/2oz. length must be over seven foot .. thanks B
Re: JDM flipping and jig rod
Not JDM, but I have a custom 7' MH that I love for pitching.
What about a F5-70 DG Advantage Type-R or a TMJC-70XH.

Re: JDM flipping and jig rod
I like a shorter rod for pitching vs a longer rod for flipping.
However ,if 7ft is kool then i agree with Tony the EG TMJC-70XH, but if you have time the EG Wild Stallion might rule the roost.
A lot of people swear by the MB F7-711X Seven-Eleven even though they bill it more as a lighter, finesse jigging stick. They got the F7-72X , and F7-77X. However, I tend to hear more people raving about the Seven-Eleven.
Deps has several new flipping editions. The HGC-73XX would be a player
The UFM 7th Fighter (7F-701EX) and built P/C/G
Daiko Dreadnought BRDC-76FSX
the possibilities are endless
