Congrats BassOnly!

Looking on you, I too would like such... At least, the spools for Shimano always were narrower, than for Daiwa. And now especially...

yeah.. trouble is, that rod will only lead to another reel because you'll find the Scorp Mg is abit underpowered for what you'll end up throwing with that stick... if you're looking Megabass to go with that reel, I'd recommend sticking with something in about an F4 or below.

No... I want to put a BBS on that rod, but I am not going to. I am going to stick with ADM rods that actually have a warranty (I.E. loomis). They sure are pretty though! ;)

awsome little reels!

I use 2 myself for pitching.

Upgraded with 4 ball bearing 85mm ZPI carbon handle, Carbontex drag washers, ZPI sic spool bearings, lubed with yellow rocket fuel.

Pitches 1/8 oz stuff with ease! 8-)

16 yrs old, and owns a 20 ft Champ, and buying quality equipment, GREAT deal guy! 8-)

=)))) You better listen to Cal. He told me the Zillion was a great reel but a mediocre one on my Elseil a year or so ago (my first) I didnt listen. I since then have traded my Zillion for a Sol and baught a Steez. Your in trouble, expecially if your hard headed like me and dont listen. ](*,)

And speaking of the devil, have you oiled and grease that little jewel ? It´s been a year since it greased and oiled it.
yep master, oil every 2 or 3 trips, grease 2 times in this year...

I like the Bassart. I like the contrast of the black handles, especially on silver reels. I have a Bassart 90 mm on my 100DC and on my Calais 100A. I havent personally seen a ZPI handle so I cant honestly comment on them, but I do prefer the black over the Platinum either way.....Platinum looks a little cheesy to me.

Not when it looks like that... ;) Either way you can go wrong with the any of the 3 handles you can get.
