For that price I would buy one. If they I could use them in saltwater.

Reserved one through Plat, should ship at the end of August... Very anxious.

It has my attention! I'll probably buy one but only if the frame is mg... I hope super mg doesn't = CI4+

I think Shimano finally gave their magnesium alloy a name, just like AirMetal. It's the same (super) Mg as the Stella haha. The palm plate might be what's CI4+

Re: Shimano JP's answer to the T3 Air
I just finished watching the videos on Shimano JP's site, and I couldn't understand a word they were saying, but seeing that Aldebaran BFS paired with a Jackal PG BFS168l definitely made me want to get a third job.
Re: Shimano JP's answer to the T3 Air
On the video it looks smaller than stock Aldebaran, I don't know how it will fit on a Steez Skyray... T3 Air will be perfect, but 20000JPY less...

I just don't care after getting my lefty revo lt with stock spool weight about 6gr without bearing Casting 2-3gr jigs without hassle Sounds finesse? Oh yeah!
Re: Shimano JP's answer to the T3 Air
^ I almost pulled the trigger on one of those, but got the Megabass finesse spool for my Steez instead.

Re: Shimano JP's answer to the T3 Air
I was so intent on getting a t3 air but now I'm not so sure. In the last year I bought a lot of reels, some new some older. I feel like reels are going backwards with time. e.g my T3 vs the the Ito ai. Here I have a 2005 reel that casts, retrieves and feels better than a 2011 reel. Likewise with my curados...
Will be interested in reviews for the next gen reels like the t3 air, aldebran bfs however.
My next modern reel will probably be the Stephano and the 2013 revo stx
