Any Cure for The Dark Side?
I need a cure bad. I can't even look at cheap tackle anymore. Is there any hope of going back to the good ole days?
Re: Any Cure for The Dark Side?
Nope...none at all unfortunatley (or fortunately)!!
Re: Any Cure for The Dark Side?
I tried crack, crystal meth and smack but none of them could compare to expensive tackle. So I always fall back into the bottomless pit of JDM. And the twelve steps never worked since my sponsor didn't buy me the stuff I needed.

Be thankful, embrace it lol Hell I wish I could throw expensive tackle but too many toothy critters in ALL my waters. I just couldn't bear it seeing a $20ish something bait get jacked by Mr Pikey
Re: Any Cure for The Dark Side?
the cure... keep the bait monkey happy!

I guess it's like the hotel California, you can check in but you can never leave.lpquick wrote:Life is about living and the Dark Side knows how to have fun. Everyone’s welcome but no one ever leaves!

The Cure? There is a Cure for the Dark side? I thought it was buying more baits!!! Just wait til you spend HOURS on the internet searching and translating JDM sights to try to get stuff that's damn near impossible to get here!!! Roman Made Range is my new obsession!
Re: Any Cure for The Dark Side?
Of course there is a cure! Just remember Darth Vader, the problem is that you might not like the side effects...
You do not really wan to be cured, just enjoy it and try to feed the monkey now and then so it does not becomes King Kong.

blondes.
in the long run tho, you're probably better off just chasing the tackle.

How about I don't want to be cured. Ramen noodles, sardines and crackers aren't too bad after all. Also the chicks dig the weight loss.

No, and I don't think anybody is really trying to find one either.

Re: Any Cure for The Dark Side?
And to think this all started out 3 years ago with me buying a Pinnacle reel for $40.00 at Walmart. I thought guys were crazy to buy hundred dollar reels. My rod was a Shakespeare glass rod. A total of $60.00 in the whole setup.
