Funny on the "Power Versatile" wonder who coined the phrase first: MB or Daiwa? lol Would the rod be the equivalent of the USDM Steez 7'1" SVF?

special thanks to kakaryan for assisting me in this purchase, my sincere thanks brotha!

@ kakaryan:

balancing point without a reel:

balancing point with the type r+:

note: in both pics the rod is barely touching the wood frame of my bed, it is not touching the cushion behind it.

the balance of this combo is amazing. not tip heavy at all, it balances just above the forenut. it feels light, agile, accurate, strong and even deadly. the air beam seat is so comfortable, its the best seat i have ever held. ive handled steez rods before, so i already had an idea how they feel. plus i have an older light and tough rod with what appears to be an early rendition of the air beam construction. its the best feature on that rod.

as a reference point, it feels stronger than both the cumara reaction 69mh and the jpg hyper wolf 66mh, both of those being excellent sticks. i suspect this is due to the fact that the flanker is 7 foot, therefore having a longer, bigger power section.

@ SmallieSmasher:

id be slow to dismiss the trigger....get a steez rod in your hands before you decide not to get one.... ;)

@ BigG

hattori hanzo katana nana!

@ Pin:

im not sure, but if i had to guess i would say they must be close, however, the flanker is new for 2013...

@ aussiebasser:

lol guess im flexible, i thought my wrist looked funny too. and yes i am one with the force.

@ everyone:

thanks for the comments and all the friendliness, happy fishing! jah bless!

You are welcome mate and thanks for the follow up pics. The balance is so nice considering it's a 7' long rod as well as the light weight of the reel and the rod itself (113g only). Awesome. =D> I think I should get myself a Werewolf soon... ](*,)

Cheers. :big grin:
