7seasproshopTHAI vs 7seasproshop any experiences?
It seems that 7seasproshop is going to have a new webpage and I was wondering if it is the http://www.7seasproshopthai.com or this is a completely different site.
In case it is a different site/shop does anyone have experienced with them?
Thanks in advance.

Never tried it but they accept paypal so it should be pretty safe right?
I'm going to go ahead and guess it will be their new site.

I bought two rods from them and asked for warranty cards, completed the purchase and only one came with a warranty card. The one without ended up snapping and the guy wouldn't even answer any questions to do with the rod.
They are expensive compared to the regular Japanese stores and I just don't feel their service is adequate for the amount of money you spend.

I believe its the same shop. As for transactions with them, they carry a wide variety of items but prices are not as competitive. If you really want an item right away, they are the way to go. If you are looking for a deal, its better to continue shopping.

They can source things, but you will pay a premium

Their prices are really high for some things, and really low for others. If you are looking at any Abu tackle they have some great prices. I also saw a Kevlar swept handle for Daiwas for really cheap if anyone is looking for an aftermarket handle for cheap. They ship pretty fast too.

Both are of the same shop gents, one is the newer website and more user friendly that's all.
Shop is at navamin bkk(bung sam ran lake), close to where i live. I do most of my shopping there. Though quite pricey, but they do keep a load of variety in their shops.
When buying off the SE Asia though, always insist on a warranty especially on reels and rods. There are just too many "recon" reels coming in from China and Sg that will not carry any warranty. Usually these items are sold as brand new at a lower price. Bound to hit snags with these equipment after a few outings.

Bought reels. No problems

Just received a rod from them.
I don't think they quite have everything running smoothly on their new site yet (i.e. put an order through, pay, and nothing shows up in the order history), but in the end everything worked out okay.

here in Sg we have the same story, telling us to beware of "recon" reels coming in from China and Thailand...Roob G wrote: When buying off the SE Asia though, always insist on a warranty especially on reels and rods. so I guess China is the confirmed source; thailand & Sg I'm not so sure...

Hahaha... not meaning to disrespect any country there bro! Let me put it right, stay away from"new" reels that come without a warranty.haoz wrote:here in Sg we have the same story, telling us to beware of "recon" reels coming in from China and Thailand...Roob G wrote: When buying off the SE Asia though, always insist on a warranty especially on reels and rods.
