Pen, did I read that right that there is a new bearing model from HH called the Air HD ?

If so, would you kindly share a link with any details you may have on it.

These new AIR HD bearings look great. The Tackle Trap is going to stock them very soon. I can't wait to get some out on the water, I'm sure they're going to be outstanding :D

I have a set of air HD bearings on the way for testing. I have been very happy with ZR bearings, will be interesting how these go.

The Tackle Trap just got the AIR HD bearings in stock. I'm looking forward to putting a set in an original Zillion and going to do some work soon!

I have the AIR bearings and love them. Didnt get the HD cause I felt it was just graded to resist corrosion from saltwater...whats the difference between the reg AIR and AIR HD besides that?

Air is rated up to 1oz. HD are for everything. If you use 4oz lures while having the HH Air, they'll wear much quicker than if you had a pair of Air HD.

First, sorry for my english :) I use google translate...

I tested all of hedgehogs ceramic ball bearings and bfs bearings.
With Chronarch Ci4+ and Avail microcast spool
spin times
stock bearing 14-16s no sound
Air BFS bearing 20-23s little sound
Air HD bearing 25-28s more sound
Air Ceramic bearing 30-33s screaming :)

I used to lubricate this bearings with hedgehogs Ultra light oil, one drop max one bearing.

Air BFS bearing not suitable for reels that have "silent tune" system, like Aldebaran 50, Metanium MGL...

Air HD bearings for middle sized reels, cast very far with 1/2 oz+ lures and saltwater resistant
Air Ceramic bearings for small size reels, cast 1/4-3/4 oz lures very far and with micro balls help 1/4-1/2 lures handling
Air BFS bearings for reels which have light and shallow spools, thin lines, and help cast 1/8-3/8 oz lures.
