Sub-$400 casting rods

I'm looking for a short, sub-6' casting rod that will happily fish 10# CX Premium and 3/16-1/2oz lures. I fish from a paddle craft on screeks and rivers. Please give me some suggestions as far as brands, models or just product lines. Thanks!
